Project Information

The Kounrad Copper Project is designed to process 69,060,000 tonnes of oxidized copper ore from the Eastern waste dumps of the Kounrad mine, averaging 0.165% Cu, alongside 3,443,000 tonnes of oxidized and off-balance ore from the Kounrad open pit, averaging 0.207% Cu. The project scope encompasses an integrated Heap Leaching, Ion Exchange, Solvent Extraction, and Electrowinning (HL/IX/SX/EW) complex, targeting an annual production of 5,000 tonnes of LME Grade A cathode copper.
