Ellatzite-Med Out-Balanced Ore Dump Copper Project

The Ellatzite out-balanced ore dump copper project was developed for Ellatzite-Med AD, with the objective of recovering copper from out-balanced ore — material stockpiled during primary mining operations due to its lower immediate processing priority. Extensive metallurgical testwork was conducted to fully characterize the ore and establish optimal operating parameters, guiding a tailored process flowsheet that integrates air-operated dump leaching, ion exchange, solvent extraction, and electrowinning to efficiently extract and produce high-purity copper.
